first of many? maybe, maybe not

i've never really had a blog before so it could take some time to get used to it. there's not really much to say at the moment, life is treating me ok i guess. i have a beautiful wife who is seven months pregnant with our second child. we're having a girl and i'm really looking forward to meeting her. our son is eight months old and he's amazing. yes, we're fast workers but i have promised her that i wont knock her up again for a while. this is pretty much the happiest i've ever been

i suffer with manic depression, stress disorders, anxiety issues and a few other things that dont really effect me as much as the aforementioned do. i've suffered with depression for fourteen years, which coincidentally is the same amount of time i've known my oldest friend. i hadnt realised that before. i dont think she's the cause though. we lost touch for about five years when i was with my previous two girlfriends because she didnt like them. looking back she was right and i should have listened to her but if i had i probably wouldnt be who i am today. at this point i should just mention that if there are typos anywhere on any of my posts its cos i'm dyslexic and when i get stressed or upset i cant type or spell for shit. also, there will be strong language cos i'm a foul mouthed little fucker. i say little, i'm actually six feet five inches tall, but i digress

apart from my family, my life revolves around music. i am a musician, i listen to music almost every second that i am awake, which is a lot because i have terrible insomnia. when not listening to music i can be found watching movies, but not just any movies, just the SAW movies. i love them and not just for the gore. no, there is actually an amazing storyline that only fans of the movie actually care about. i'm vegetarian and have been for sixteen years. i dont miss meat at all, never really liked it. luckily my wife is also a veggie. we decided we'd raise our kids eating meat until they're old enough to choose for themselves whether they want to carry on eating it or not. we want to raise our kids the same way i was raised you see, my parents have always been really laid back and respected that i have my own mind and can make my own decisions. if i made the wrong ones, i took the consequences

which leads me onto my next nugget of information. i was a cocaine addict and tried to overdose back when i was twenty. i was severely depressed and took enough to finish me off, but because i'd been addicted for a few years before, my body was used to it and i didnt take enough. i was in a coma for just over a week and quit. i have a highly addictive personality and cant take any form of medication without being watched constantly and having someone give me the meds at the right time

i'm rambling and its late, so this is the end of this for now. more to come i imagine
