and i can show you a little slice of everyone

behind getting married and having babies, the greatest night of my life has to be going to a lostprophets gig. they've been my favourite band for some twelve years now and up until i met my ex i went to every show i possibly could. the last time i saw them was back on the day of the "burn burn" video shoot, after that, my ex wouldnt let me go to gigs anymore. i dont know why, but she was always very jealous of the attention i showed my idols, especially members of lostprophets. she liked LPS too and i never said a word about her crush on ian, but if i mentioned anything about how amazing i thought lee was or how i wished i could play as good as stuart, she took offence and if you've read any previous entries, you'll know that she was violent about these kinds of things

last night, after many years waiting, i finally got to see my idols once again, this time with new drummer jocko. jocko is an amazing man, he talks to me on twitter quite a lot and i dont think he realises how much it means to me, just like it does when the other guys have all talked to me. i never got to see ilan play which is sad. jocko was awesome, really awesome infact. i have to admit that he's one of the greatest drummers i've ever heard, right up there with travis barker and joey jordison. the whole show was amazing and right now i wish i was in newport to watch them play again. technical difficulties didnt even stop the greatest band in the world (my opinion, so you cant argue with it)

thank you lostprophets for one of the greatest nights of my life
