they gimme gimme, they gimme, they follow my voice

my blog titles are usually the title of whatever song i'm listenin to or a catchy line that strikes me as i start typying. - thats an FF (fun fact)

i stayed awake all night last night. i wasnt tired and i wanted to think while the room was quiet. kay was there, laying in my hospital bed with me which was nice. i cant sleep if she's not there and she cant sleep without me beside her. i watched a few dvd's and faked being asleep when doctors or nurses came to the room. i dont want to be sedated again, it scares and confuses me. if i sleep, i like to get just enough to keep me going. i dont need eight hours a night like most people, i can easily survive on as little as an hour without any problem at all. it upsets me if i wake up and i've been forced to sleep like that

9am came and i was still awake. kay woke up and before long i was asleep. i got a few hours of natural sleep and it was nice. i woke up and the doctor came to see how i was doing. looks like i could be home by the weekend which will be nice althought i'd really like to be home before then

after a while i decided i wanted to speak to all my other friends in the twitterverse (yes, even in my hospital bed i cant keep away from twitter). i logged on and had no fewer than 5 pages of mentions and there were a million pages of
#getwellsoonadam in the trending (trendy as i call them) topics search which made me feel great. i had a lot of tweets from celebs over the last twenty four hours which has been amazing and has really helped me to get better. my heart monitors are all looking good and i'm fully stablised, the docs just want to keep a check and make sure the pacemaker is still doing its job properly

the story last night was so much fun, trying to keep up with it was difficult and when my part came, dawn told me to say something rude. i'd seen cristal mention the ping pong ball and i remember my first conversation with her so my part of the story was short but at least it made sense

all in all, its the only time i've actually enjoyed being in hospital
